Museum Center Entry Signage
There are many people that visit the The Mark Twain House & Museum Visitor Center every year for other events who never go on a tour. The goal was give those visitors a sneak-peak into what they’d see on a tour.
Following the style of the Entry Posters those taking a tour get to see, (which I also designed) we created a quick glimpse into “the House that Twain built.”
Punny Peeps
Identity
Lisa came to me with her plan to create joke books for kids based on her Punny Peep characters. She has been an elementary school teacher in Bristol, CT for 25 years and came up with the idea of her Punny Jokes to Tell Your Peeps books as a way to help parents and teachers everywhere inspire children to read with jokes. She wanted a fun, vibrant logo to represent her silly, lighthearted characters and the books they would be in.

Mark Twain House & Museum
Entry Posters
The Mark Twain House built a brand new museum center to advance the mission of the Museum and needed to invigorate four informational posters. Using newly restored wallpaper patterns from the House, we created a new engaging look that set the stage for visitors before they left the museum center to experience the home where Samuel Clemens wrote many of his masterpieces.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
Annual Report
The Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters were looking for a new direction for their annual report. They wanted to highlight the amazing “Littles” their Big Brothers and Big Sisters help and reinforce their call to “Start Something Big.”
Saccuzzo Coffee
Identity & Branding
Grande Italia had been roasting coffee beans to make their high-end coffee and espresso for many years. They decided it was time for a name change. The decision was made to use their family name to give their company a new beginning, along with a clean, modern look. Working from the idea that “coffee was in the family,” a new mark was born when we discovered the CC and U in Saccuzzo could also represent a coffee cup.
American Clock & Watch Museum
Scandals & Scoundrels Exhibit
That was the theme The American Clock & Watch Museum wished to portray in a poster and and supporting exhibit panel designs. Providing glimpses into what life was like during various stages in our nation’s development, and contribute new information about American clock and watch making.
Lewiston Democrats
Identity
The Lewiston, Maine Democratic party wanted an identity they could rally behind. The National Committee’s identity had garnered so much success at it’s inception we decided to follow its lead and add a little of Lewiston to it. Influenced by the great water falls of the Androscoggin River that runs through the heart of Lewiston, the LD Wave was born, along with two other indivdual campaign logos.
Barefoot Media
Identity
Caitlin was ahead of the curve when it came to using social media as a tool for business. So much so that she made the decision to start her own business. An avid barefoot runner, she believed the experience of running was much more personal when doing it in bare feet and used that belief when in her business.

Gilded Age of Hartford Exhibit
The Mark Twain House & Museum exhibit The Gilded Age of Hartford! featured artifacts and rare items from the museum’s collections revolving around Hartford Connecticut’s period of wealth, poverty, dynamism, oppression, plutocracy, populism, corruption, and reform. They needed a poster and exhibit panels depicting the time that Mark Twain was an active member of and his own ideas and life helped to depict its varying dimensions.

Garden Brochure
The Garden Club of the Mark Twain House puts in countless hours maintaining the flowers and planting at Nook Farm. They desired a way for visitors to know where to go to see the fruits of their labor throughout the grounds.
